ON PRIVACY
effective august 24, 2026
The whole policy in one line: UnderCover Photo collects no data. None. Everything happens on your device.
Nothing. UnderCover Photo has no user accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, no crash-reporting service, and no servers of our own. The app never transmits your photos, videos, text, or usage information anywhere.
The app asks for photo library access for exactly two things: letting you pick a video or photo through Apple's system picker, and saving the Live Photos you create back to your library (using Apple's add-only permission where possible). Media you pick is processed entirely on your device — trimming, rendering, text layers, and watermarks all happen locally — and leaves the app only when you save it to your own library.
The Pro unlock is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, name, or Apple ID. Apple provides us no personally identifiable information about purchasers.
Since we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to retain, sell, share, or delete. The creations you save live in your own photo library under your control; temporary working files are kept in the app's private storage on your device and cleaned up automatically.
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, children included.
If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above — for example, adding opt-in crash reporting — we will update this page and the App Store privacy label before that version ships. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
