THE FINE PRINT

By downloading or using UnderCover Photo ("the app"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your license to the app. Where these terms and Apple's EULA overlap, Apple's EULA controls for App Store matters.
UnderCover Photo creates Apple Live Photos in which the still image and the short video are chosen by you and may intentionally differ. Creations are saved to your own photo library; the app has no accounts and no cloud component.
The free tier includes a limited number of saves per day and applies a visible watermark to creations. The Pro one-time purchase unlocks all features available in the app at the time of purchase, removes the watermark, and removes the daily save limit — permanently, for your Apple account, across your devices. Restore purchases from the paywall on any new device. Future features may be offered under separate pricing; nothing you have purchased will be taken away. Payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under App Store policies.
You keep all rights to the videos, photos, and text you use — the app claims no ownership and never receives copies. You are responsible for what you create and send. Use content you have the right to use, and don't use the app to harass, defame, defraud, impersonate, or otherwise break the law. The hidden-clip mechanic is for fun between consenting humans; how you use it is on you.
The app, its design, name, and icon are ours. "Live Photo" is a technology and trademark of Apple Inc.; this app is an independent product not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Live Photo behavior on recipients' devices depends on Apple's software and can change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the past twelve months.
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the app at any time; your saved creations remain yours in your photo library either way.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
